Mexico Juvenile HallLocal P.E.A.C.E. Opportunity Saddleback volunteers (age 18 and over) can bring the love of Christ to children who are incarcerated. We prepare sandwiches and serve drinks as someone gives a devotional. There is also time to sing and pray. Some of the children we visit are only 8 years old.
We also have the opportunity to witness to the families who gather beforehand to visit their children. Sometimes there are over 100 family members gathered outside the prison. Please sign-up ASAP to reserve a space as Chuck needs to provide the prison with a list of volunteers ahead of time.
When: Third Saturday of the month from 8:00am-7:00pm. (Usually meet at Denny’s and leave at 8:30am.)
