Patrick Giraldin – pastor of ministry
Pat leads the ministry team as we help Saddleback members discover their unique SHAPE and begin fulfilling their purpose in serving the Body of Christ – through C.L.A.S.S. 301 and resources that help individuals take their next steps on the journey towards serving. Pat received his BA from BIOLA University, and is currently completing his Masters of Divinity at Rockbridge Seminary. Pat lives in Ladera Ranch with his wife, Gina, and their children, Spencer, Jordan, Kyle, and Tyler. Pat is also the Overdrive pastor where he loves to teach and rock out with his best friend and worship pastor Dave.

Dawn Maestas – volunteer coordinator
Dawn oversees volunteer coordination, from recruitment to technology management, and continually shepherds the Volunteer Connectors who are the conduits to volunteer opportunities church wide. She can frequently be found helping teach C.L.A.S.S. 301 and loves to get on stage any chance that she can! Dawn has a BFA from UNLV and relishes opportunities to be creative/artistic. Dawn lives in Mission Viejo with her husband Rick, her teenage son, and her two Labrador Retrievers.

Michelle Doerr – S.H.A.P.E. coordinator
Michelle oversees our S.H.A.P.E. Discovery Process including our amazing and inspiring volunteer S.H.A.P.E. Guides. She loves getting to know these incredible volunteers on a personal level and creating relationships with them. Michelle enjoys writing and is able to use that passion while writing a monthly column for S.H.A.P.E. Central which is featured on the Purpose Driven website. If possible, Michelle could spend all of her time reading, ministering to high school girls, spending time with friends, and loving on her niece and nephew.

Paula Dievendorf – volunteer coordinator
Paula works in Volunteer Central helping our office support volunteers connect with projects they are passionate about. She loves empowering people to serve and find their passion and place in ministry. Paula lives in Rancho Santa Margarita with her husband and son. Her daughter recently graduated from Biola University and is now out on her own. Paula enjoys reading, swimming, making cards, and walking on the beach with her husband.
