Buddy Owens – pastor of spiritual growth As pastor of spiritual growth, Buddy leads the team as we help Saddleback members become more like Christ – through the creation of tools and resources that help individuals take their next steps on the journey toward spiritual maturity. Before coming to Saddleback, Buddy spent more than 15 years with Maranatha Music as a writer and editor. He also speaks at many Promise Keeper events around the country. Buddy lives in Mission Viejo with his wife, Lynnda, and their children, Katherine, Brad, Lauren, and Tessa. It is hard for Buddy to resist a good sandwich, especially one from Subway.
