Songcrafters began in the very early days of Saddleback Church in the living room of Linda Gray. Jim Skov, Mike Pelzman, and Al Lowry were a few of the people at that meeting who are still worship leaders at Saddleback Church.

Our focus then remains the same today: to honor the Lord in song as we work at the fine craft of writing for the Lord. Lately God has been moving us toward some great things with Songcrafters, so if you feel prompted, please consider how he wants you to use all that creative energy to write and collaborate with others.

In recent years, Songcrafters has produced two Christmas CD projects and one compilation CD. We are currently working on another compilation we hope to have finished by mid-June of 2007.

Another exciting new project we have undertaken is “This Day’s Song,” an original song feature which can be found on iTunes.

We have taken a break over the summer, and are about to start up again this fall.  Our Songcrafter's Ministry is closely connected with our G.I.G. Ministry (Guitarists Into God) and we are in the process of determining our meeting schedule.
