Hope For Single Parents Workshop Single Parenting Workshop/Study     Taught by Pastor Bob Baker; Pastor of Pastoral Care; Licensed MFT   Starting: January 12, 2010 Time: 6:30 to 9:30 Location: Ministry Office 2 (Gathering Room)   This workshop/study is designed to assist the single parent in understanding the importance of and develop a working biblical parenting model.  This will be a 16-week study with large group presentation followed by working/support/ encouragement groups to help begin to implement the principles talked about in the large group.     Someone has said the role of the parent is the most difficult job in the world.  The role of a single parent is twice as difficult.    Having an agreed biblical parenting model is critical for every family no matter what the status of the adults in the home.  The importance of developing a biblical parenting model for the single parent manifests itself in the success or future of their relationships!  One of the primary causes for second and third marriage failing is the incompatible/conflicting parenting models.  This workshop/study is designed to help the single parent begin to take positive steps towards developing a biblically based parenting model.   Due to limited space registration is required.  This workshop/study is restricted to single parents.
